Primary Responsibilities

This position, located in Bellevue, Washington, supports our growing marketing program throughout our Washington office locations. Working in a cross-functional, team environment, the marketing coordinator is responsible for supporting our marketing program activities, including proposal development, RFP compliance reviews, client interview preparation, graphic/multimedia support for proposals and meetings, technical writing/editing, and a range of other marketing tasks. These efforts require a significant amount of independent research, collaboration, technical writing, and creative thinking. May supervise others and coordinate efforts of other staff as well as mentors others.

Strong organizational, writing/composition, graphics, and people skills along with the ability to develop project schedules and work under deadlines with diplomacy are essential. This position will require balancing multiple priorities and the ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments while maintaining quality.


Required skills and experience:

Skills: Strong organizational skills with ability to schedule and manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines, both independently and as part of a team. Enjoys a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with a wide range of people and processes, and juggling multiple assignments. Comfortable leading creative and technical staff, facilitating meetings, and working independently.

Communication: Strong communication (both written and verbal) and collaboration skills are required. Positive attitude, flexibility, and energy are critical for success. Ability to communicate with diplomacy in stressful situations is also essential.

Experience: Minimum of 7 years of hands on marketing experience in a corporate environment.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English or Journalism is preferred.

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Proficient with Adobe InDesign and MS Office products (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong design skills and graphical aptitude a plus.
  • Previous work in engineering, architecture or consultant services is preferred.
