The Sr. Manager oversees the team responsible for systems, processes and analyses in support of supply chain event planning and network system inventory monitoring.
*Represents Supply Chain department in cross-functional and corporate enterprise projects. Acts as project manager for key cross-functional projects including system implementations, process improvements and other complex cross departmental initiatives. Regularly presents department status and updates to franchise community.
*Oversees the inventory monitoring and event planning function, including ensuring department is trained in systems and planning techniques. Researches and recommends departmental tools and processes that will assists in meeting supply chain goals and the company’s strategic initiatives. Develops methods, policies and procedures to enhance process within the overall supply chain area. Participates in and conducts interdepartmental training and sharing of methodologies to create process standardization and information flow within the department.
*Interviews, selects, and oversees the training for new hires. Conducts performance evaluation and provides developmental feedback for departmental staff. Oversees the inter-departmental cross training for employees and other supply chain partners. Delegates tasks to, organizes, mentors and motivates a team of talented program managers.
*Develops processes and controls in an effort to optimize planning and execution of events throughout the supply chain network with emphasis on product introduction, planning, and distribution.
*Ensures accurate and timely analytical support to internal and external customers; performs high-level analyses in support of inventory control and event planning. Develops and maintains computer models analyzing inventory.
*Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in business or economics or related field. Master’s degreepreferred.
*5+ years of related experience in inventory control operations. 2-3years project management experience.
*Requires solid knowledge of inventory management techniques and controls, in-depth knowledge of distribution operations, operations research and optimization techniques.
