Manheim Logistics (Ready Logistics and Central Dispatch) is looking for a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead multiple Software Engineering teams. Your Role:

  • Lead multiple Software Engineering teams.
  • Building learning organizations through continuous improvement.
  • Be responsible for planning for the budget, team resources, and tools to deliver against the roadmap.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to provide status and iterative releases.


Required Experience (minimum):

  • Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of people management experience.
  • Large scale systems design experience.
  • Ability to think “out of the box” and bring creative, non-standard, and innovative solutions to the table. Proven record of implementing strategic change and initiative where prudent.
  • Proven vision, leadership, critical thinking skills to prioritize evolving initiatives in a fast-paced environment; ability to translate ideas and capabilities into effective initiatives that exceed customer expectations and spur market transformation.

What We Look For (preferred):

  • 10 years of experience in system-level software development, with 5 years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience (managing teams of 8 or more).
  • MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
