Senior Manager Sales & Marketing Operations

A self-starter who can work independently or in a team to accomplish objectives and must be able to clearly explain his/her work to non-technical personnel.

Position Summary

The Senior Manager Sales & Marketing Operations has the overall view, ownership, and job of developing, maintaining, supporting all sales and marketing software stack applications, across regions, business units, including corporate websites, and microsites.

The Senior Manager Sales & Marketing Operation will report to the Director, Digital Marketing and interacts frequently with other members of the Sales and Marketing function, as well as technical and business leaders across the company. The position is based in Somerset, New Jersey, USA, with the ability to do some work remote.

In concert with Catalent’s Patient First philosophy, this position is key in our

efforts toward continuous improvement of our processes & information which will

allow quality drug products to reach patients safely and efficiently.

The Role (daily responsibilities)

  • Provide technical leadership and individual contributor support for all aspects of Catalent sales and marketing application support, in collaboration with internal IT, external consultants, and digital agencies.
  • Work with outside developers on technical issues, application QA, testing and implementation.
  • Provide administrative support on Salesforce.com (SFDC), and web applications
  • Develop and deploy web forms

The Candidate (requirements)

  • Bachelors’ in Computer Science, Marketing, Business or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience with increased responsibility as a Marketing Automation or CRM administrator, in an agency, studio, or corporate marketing environment
  • Experience in project management at both local and global levels
  • Possesses a good understanding of web analytics, website conversion, and search engine optimization
  • Vigilance about data standards and version control
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com and Oracle Eloqua
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Search Engine Optimization, Google Analytics
  • Excellent problem solving and creative abilities
  • A service oriented, collaborative/consultative mindset is critical
