Job Description

The Senior Manager, Sales Effectiveness – Small and Large Container creates the strategy and tools to drive sales revenue through strategy and standardized processes. By utilizing industry knowledge and subject matter expertise, the Senior Manager, Sales Effectiveness – Small and Large Container effectively develops and maintains relationships as well as influences the activities of key stakeholders across the company to ensure product and services offerings are best in class.

Principal Responsibilities

    • Develops an annual strategic plan for the Small and Large Container vertical in alignment with company goals and objectives.

    • Maintains accountability for delivering an annual revenue and margin budget.

    • Accountable for the sales process and tools (PBS, Capture, CRM) to track and deliver the annual strategic plan.

    • Partners and collaborates with other functions within the company such as Market Planning and Product Development, to research the industry, identify opportunities and trends, and develop best in class products and service offerings.

    • Drives the implementation of the strategic plan by influencing activities of critical key stakeholders across the company such as Vertical Sales Leaders, EVP’s of Operations, Market Planning, Marketing, and the teams that report to each.

    • Coordinates with Area leadership to align on resources required to successfully implement and deliver on the annual plan.

    • This position may travel by air, car and/or other modes of transportation approximately 30% of the time.

    • Performs other job related duties as assigned or apparent.

Qualifications

    • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in a sales management role that includes experience managing other sales personnel and experience developing comprehensive sales strategies, business and sales plans. (Required)

    • Bachelor’s degree

    • Previous waste industry or service industry experience.

    • Valid driver’s license.
