Job Description:  

The Senior Manager, Product Pricing and Packaging will be instrumental in developing the pricing and packaging model which will ensure we are optimizing returns for our product investments, maximizing customer growth, and providing a compelling value proposition. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform pricing analysis to develop our pricing and packaging strategies for all product offerings
  • Work cross-functionally with Intacct and industry leaders to align packaging and pricing with customer value and success
  • Partner with product managers to help shape pricing strategy and set proper pricing meters and price points
  • Develop requirements for product and business system changes to streamline provisioning and product usage tracking
  • Build pricing processes by standardizing pricing methodology, solidifying pricing approval and committee, and establishing roadmap of delivery milestones
  • Build pricing data analytics capability by gathering past data, implementing data capture processes, establishing regular pricing performance metrics
  • Assess impact of pricing and packaging in market, collaborate with sales teams to recommend future adjustments

 

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in business, marketing, finance or related fields; MBA is highly desired
  • 5-10+ years of relevant experience at a SaaS software company in pricing and packaging, product strategy and/or analytics
  • Highly analytical and able to create data sets that will provide robust, sound evidence to prove or disprove recommendations
  • Ability to prepare and present data in an accurate, clear, concise and insightful way that assists senior management in decision making
  • Previous experience working at software companies with robust product offerings where multiple product packages were built out to meet customer needs and values
  • Strong research and relationship building skills – ability to work cross-functionally to gather data and insights and serve as an internal resource
