GoodHire is looking for a Senior Manager, Product Marketing with the creativity and drive to help us establish the Company as a recognized leader and preferred choice in the crowded employment background screening space. In this role you will be leading the Company’s product marketing efforts, with principal responsibility for leading overall go-to-market (GTM) strategy, product positioning and messaging, sales enablement, and thought leadership.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Develop compelling positioning & messaging for GoodHire that differentiates us in the market, and resonates with prospects & customers
  • Create marketing materials that powerfully reflect the positioning you've created and inspire prospects, customers and partners to choose GoodHire and want to engage with us over time
  • Drive Go-To-Market strategy, including planning the launch of new products and releases and managing the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Develop thought leadership materials designed to accelerate our business momentum and better engage audiences throughout the funnel
  • Communicate the value proposition and develop sales training and tools that support the selling process for both direct and partner teams
  • Lead Voice of Customer efforts -- be the expert on our buyers & customers, uncovering insights that lead to breakthrough messaging and well-defined target audiences & buyer personas.
  • Develop and nurture customer relationships to develop references, drive case studies, and cultivate brand champions
  • Drive market research initiatives for the Company
  • Manage analyst & influencer relations & programs

You’ll be a fantastic match for this role if you bring:

  • 6+ years of progressive product marketing experience, including demonstrated success positioning & promoting B2B products, especially in a crowded category
  • Natural storytelling skills with a gift for writing and ability to create compelling content that speaks to customer pain points
  • Track record of successful product launches and proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Extremely customer-focused approach, with a passion for uncovering insights and translating them into actionable product & marketing plans
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience presenting to wide ranging audiences, including internal stakeholders, webinars, trainings, and industry events
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced work environments and adeptness at leveraging data to inform recommendations
  • Strong listening skills, and the ability to influence decisions and lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to be both strategic and hands-on
  • Experience working for companies selling category-differentiating products in the HR Tech space, understanding the needs of the HR buyer audience (not a requirement, but strongly preferred)
  • MBA preferred, but not required
