THE ROLE:
CeraVe is seeking a dynamic, self-driven, and creative Senior Manager of Partnerships and Activations to drive disruptive and culturally relevant partnerships in the US that are both medical and consumer facing. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic and innovative brand partnerships inclusive of collaborations (e.g., medical professionals, influencers, and creators), sponsorships and philanthropic initiatives that will elevate CeraVe's presence in the market. This role is pivotal in driving collaboration with the Director, while also supporting the execution of PR activations for CeraVe. You will work cohesively with the Brand Engagement team to ensure that all brand partnership and communications efforts align with CeraVe's brand goals, while continually finding new opportunities for consumer and medical engagement.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of PR and/or partnerships experience with a proven track record in executing buzz worthy partnership campaigns, including at least 3 years of recent experience in wellness, lifestyle, or beauty categories. They should have a high-performance mindset and have thorough experience working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders. They will display creativity and innovation when it comes to the creation of consumer and medical activations. This role will report directly to the Director of PR and Brand Activation and sit on the CeraVe Brand Engagement team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Brand Partnerships:
- In collaboration with the Director, develop CeraVe's partnership strategy and frame that enhances cultural relevance, challenges norms and drives increased consumer awareness.
- Identify and prioritize partnerships that not only align with CereVe's values but includes disruptive elements that are rooted in cultural relevance and entertainment.
- Move at the speed of culture to identify trends, subcultures, and emerging influencers to inform partnership opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with partners from concept through go-to-market execution to deliver robust go-to-market plans.
- Proactively build, maintain and leverage a wide network of industry contacts, influencers, and potential partners to tap into emerging trends, cultural shifts and up and coming talent for innovative collaboration opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Global teams, to activate brand partnerships that drive business and franchise growth.
- Collaborate with Brand Engagement team to craft cutting-edge campaign strategies for key product launches and tentpole campaigns. This includes identifying creative collaborations tailored to performance objectives.
- Remain at the forefront of celebrity culture and emerging trends across key platforms while monitoring competitors and industry movements to extract insights and recommendations.
- PR Activations & Execution:
- Collaborate with the Director to shape and execute strategic activation plans for CeraVe, ensuring tentpole campaigns are brought to life through relevant events and PR initiatives.
- Support the development and implementation of integrated PR campaigns that promote the CeraVe portfolio across skin and hair, breaking through the mold of traditional beauty and haircare sectors and driving visibility across digital and social platforms.
- Oversee PR Mailer production and timelines including liaising with Marketing team, briefing agency and collaborating with influencer managers for list creation.
- Evaluate conferences, festivals, and event sponsorships for opportunities for activations across consumer and HCP audiences.
- Work closely across Brand Engagement team to bring memorable experiences and a rigorous presence at conferences, festivals and events for both consumers and HCPs alike.
- Identify new and engaging tactics to collaborate with HCP influencers as ambassadors and integrate into brand activations and PR plans as needed.
- Serve as the key point of contact for executing high-impact US led PR activations.
- Manage agency partners and manage incoming inquiries including press material creation, Q&A documents, fact sheets, interview requests and marketing toolkits.
- Coordinate with Global PR, Global Marketing and Us Marketing to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across all brand touchpoints and channels.
- Philanthropy:
- Collaborate with Global PR team on continuing to sustain US efforts around CeraVe's Care for All Cause initiative.
- In collaboration with Director, develop Phase 2 of US Care for All programming and coordinate philanthropic partnerships with US based partners.
- Strengthen relationships with HCPs through inclusions within philanthropic partnerships with that drive engaging content
- Identify opportunities to drive awareness of CeraVe's Cause initiative among medical community including medical HCP's and dermatologist partners.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Collaborate with Director on monthly and quarterly reporting on PR & Partnership campaigns, including media coverage, event success, and brand sentiment analysis.
- Track and analyze key PR metrics (e.g., earned media value, share of voice, sentiment) to continuously optimize strategies.
- Provide competitive analysis reports to identify industry trends and benchmarks
- Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Mentor, and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment.
- Work cross-functionally with CeraVe's marketing, digital, medical and media teams to ensure integrated communication strategies.
- Serve as a key advisor to the senior leadership team on pop culture trends, competitor news, medical influencer community and beauty industry shifts.
KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of PR experience, with at least 3 years in media relations in the beauty, health & wellness industries.
- Proven track record of creating and executing high-impact PR and Partnership strategies across traditional, digital, and social media channels.
- Deep understanding of the beauty, lifestyle and pop culture landscape, with established relationships with a variety of influential brands, agents, KOL's
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with consumers.
- Experience in managing PR events, influencer partnerships, and activations, particularly in beauty and wellness required.
- Experience working with medical/ derm influencers - KOLs, etc is preferred although not necessary.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and priorities.
- A strategic thinker with a creative approach to solving PR challenges and a passion for storytelling.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent project management skills.
- Collaborative and positive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to occasionally travel and work weekends for key events and activations.
- Enthusiasm for staying current on cultural trends that impact the beauty and wellness industries.

Salary Range [New York]:]: $117,400-$167,300 base salary (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
