This role is an opportunity to be a leader in the design, development and communication of compensation and the role it plays in Neenah’s Total Rewards strategy. A key member of the team who will provide compensation expertise to the company’s senior leaders. The successful candidate will report to our VP, Total Rewards and HR Service Delivery.
Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Maintain compensation philosophy, including base salary, incentives, and bonus programs to support corporate goals and objectives
- Plan and manage competitive market pay studies, partnering with the Human Resources Business Partners and local leadership teams to understand regional needs
- Support the annual compensation cycle
- Serve as project manager for complex compensation and benefits projects, and subject matter expert for compensation and benefits systems and tools—including but not limited to involvement in M&A activity (due diligence, analysis and integration of compensation and benefits, etc.)
- Participate in the design, implementation, and monitoring of Executive Compensation programs
- Assist with preparation of materials for the Compensation Committee for the Board of Directors
- Collaborate with recruiters to develop competitive offer packages for external hires
- Ensure accurate record-keeping regarding pay and benefits
- Keep up to date on federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations, and informed of industry trends and best practices
- Liaise with vendors as needed
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, Human Resource, or related area
- 5+ years experience focused on compensation, conducting pay market analysis and building out compensation plans
- Working knowledge of FLSA, base salary analysis, incentive plans, equity plans, and deferred compensation plans
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem resolution, presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation
- HR Information Systems experience preferred, Oracle a plus
- Experience working for a global company
- Executive Compensation/Compensation Committee experience
