Raytheon is seeking a Senior Managerof Operations Qualityto join the Radio Frequency Components teamsupporting semiconductor manufacturing in Andover, MA. Our Operations Quality Team assures product and process quality with an emphasis on Product Compliance, Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement.As a leader of the Operations Quality team, the individual in this role will be responsible for leading a group of quality engineers and hardware specialists, monitoring production performance, leading yield improvements and reduction of Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ), supporting factory compliancewithsite policies and procedures, validating proper change control and implementation, and more. The ideal candidate will be able to utilizesemiconductor process knowledge and strong analytical and communications skills to drive cost effective quality solutions.
Lead a team of operations quality engineers and hardware specialists supporting semiconductor manufacturing. Some of your leadership tasks will include staffing, coaching/mentoring, presenting to senior leadership, and performance reviews.
Your on-site presence will enable your immediate interaction with leaders in Operations, Engineering, Quality, and program representatives in your factories. You will regularly engage with other factory leadership to ensure alignment of top priorities for your team.
Baseline factory metrics (scrap, rework, FPY, etc.), identify top drivers, forecast future demand for top drivers and identify areas of opportunity for improvement assuring clear identification, control, and disposition of nonconformities.
Lead/Drive Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) initiatives (PFMEA, control Plans, SPC, etc.) using baseline metrics and future demand with the ability to perform verification/validation of improvements and efficiencies to facilitate defect prevention.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’sin science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)or other technical field of studyand a minimum often (10) years of Quality Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or related fields.
Experience in first article inspection reports (FAIRs), quality monitoring, and leading root cause correct actions for both short-term and long-term initiatives in a cross functional matrixed environment.
Experience in manufacturing process knowledge with Quality systems and industry technical standards (ISO 9001, AS9100 and/or AS9102), interpreting drawings, work instructions, Bill of Materials (BOMs), consumable materials control, process disciplines and tool control.
Strong familiarity with J-STD-001, ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9201, Six Sigma, Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) or Lean experience/tools, associated tools, and ASQ Certifications
Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)/AS9145; Utilizing tools such as PPAP, Key Characteristics, DFMEA, PFMEA and/or Control Plans Experience with SAP/PRISM or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Tool
Experience in DoD product and process oversight including requirements, build, integration, test and delivery

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
