Senior Manager, Operations Finance (Fortune 500)

                                                            

Location:                                 Connecticut or Maryland

Function:                                 Operations Finance Lead

Reports into CFO of Business Unit; Partners with Global Manufacturing Director

Education & Experience:        BS Degree with Accounting or Finance Major | MBA, CPApreferred 

8+ years of experience, ideally including strong Mfg. & operational experience in a dynamic large company environment (i.e. multiple locations & Int'l exposure)

 

Background/Summary:   Senior Manager, Ops Finance will partner with his/her team and the Global Operations Director to manage the business segment's worldwide manufacturing operation, working capital, and capex spend management. Strong leadership and business partnering skills are mandatory. In addition, the individual should have strong operational experience, and the ability to effectively work in a complex matrix-management org-structure. 

Specific responsibilities include: 

  • Worldwide Operations Finance responsibility for global manufacturing sites
  • Continuous process improvement & team development
  • Achieving annual business objectives
  • Achieving annual productivity, OM improvement, and working capital targets
  • Capex management
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of actual results
  • Acquisitions support -- due-diligence & integration
  •       New plant openings and/or plant closures                                        
  • Long-term strategic plan development
  • Make vs. Buy and Make vs. Make (various plant) analytics
  • Special projects, Etc.
