Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Mobile Media is primarily responsible for the operational management of the mobile media team and works closely with the VP of media to ensure sound executions and client satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with VP of Mobile Media to define and establish best practices for the platform
  • Interprets, supervises, coordinates and integrates all assigned media activities
  • Manage internal team operations around mobile strategy, planning, recommendation, buying, execution, reporting and billing
  • Set tone for performance in the workplace by meeting and exceeding goals
  • Responsible for fostering the mobile media skills and knowledge base of junior team members
  • Provide direct reports with supervision, guidance and leadership on day-to-day job responsibilities
  • Act as a mentor to grow and develop the mobile team
  • Build strong relationship and insure the highest level of service is executed for clients
  • Navigate account work flow and form relationships across departments, other agencies and partners
  • Maintain familiarity with the history, present status and procedures of the clients, as well as with conditions in the industry
  • Is at all times alert to new media and new methods of using existing media as well as new developments, and shares those with the group
  • Understand and have the ability to explain the mechanisms that allow mobile executions to function
  • Provide an energy level that brings new and exciting ideas to the planning function and instills this in all employees assigned to the group

 Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experiencerequired

Work Experience

  • 5-7+ years of experience in the digital space required with preferredexperience in mobile media
  • 2 years of management experience

  • Entrepreneurial in spirit
  • Must be extremely accurate and detail oriented
  • Ability to think strategically at a senior client level
  • Strong communicator and presenter
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and other various outside partners
  • Comfortable with paving new territory and implementing mobile media ‘firsts’
