The Military Item Repair Strategic Sourcing Team is responsible integrating the strategic and execution activities of the item repair process across the F135, F119 and F100 military engine programs.

In your role your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing cross functional leadership and strategic direction in support of program and sustainment operations objectives, and managing customer requirements and expectations.
  2. You will work closely with the tactical elements of the item repair team to ensure support of compliant bids and best value processes.
  3. You will have strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work in a challenging environment.
  4. You will also have a demonstrated track record of project/program execution with experienceworking with aftermarket suppliers, a comprehensive understanding of item repair, supply chain and/or depot maintenance activities.
  5. You will lead direct reports in the development, execution and management of item repair strategic sourcing activities including but not limited to:
  • Evaluation and analysis of supplier capabilities, capacity, growth plans, coordination and aligning of program priorities with sourcing activity and supplier performance metrics;
  • Development and alignment of strategies for sourcing across part families and products, common processes;
  • Define framework for strategic agreements and recommend specific parts and/or processes for bid on long term agreements.


Experience/Qualifications that we would like you to have:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience managing direct reports for 2+ years
  • 3+ years of Project Management Experience
  • 5+ years experience with Microsoft Office, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience with SAP

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Finance
  • Master's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Operations Management
  • 5+ years of experience in technical project or program management or supply chain or aftermarket repair
  • Understanding of DPAS
  • High energy individual with strong problem solving skills, balancing operations with strategy
  • US Citizenship required due to Federal contract regulations
