The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for leading all marketing activities related to products and services offered by the Commercial/IM team. Key contributions include: creating and coordinating production of marketing collateral (e.g., press releases, eNewsletters, email campaigns, white papers, sales presentations, conference presentations, ads, brochures, Web sites, client success stories, videos, social media), overseeing association relationships, memberships and event sponsorships, distributing prospect and client surveys, and acting as a liaison for product user groups and focus groups as well as regional and national groups as needed.


  • Deliver annual marketingstrategy and plan and contribute to salesstrategy and plan for the Commercial/IM teams in the U.S.

  • Working from the annual marketingstrategy and utilizing Marketing Department specialists, plan and balance all marketingchannels, to include:

  1. Email marketing: targeted email marketing, with strong calls to action
  2. Print advertising
  3. Content marketing (blog, e-books, social content and social promotion, etc.)
  4. Website content
  5. SEM (as indicated and approved)
  6. Client success stories, case studies, profiles
  7. Press releases
  8. Eventpromotions
  • Generate leads and understand and manage the prospect funnel, ensuring that each stage of the marketing funnel is adequately addressed and balanced. Marketing stages include: Attract, Nurture, Convert.

  • Understand the market and develop effective sales and marketing messages

  • Coordinate production of Commercial/IM marketing collateral for the U.S.

  • Oversee Commercial/IM association relationships, memberships, and sponsorships in the U.S.

  • Oversee marketing efforts (e.g., messaging, promos) related to Commercial/IM events in the U.S.

  • Distribute online Commercial/IM client and prospect surveys

  • Serve as Yardi liaison for user and focus groups and regional and national industry groups


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related discipline

  • A minimum of 5years of experience working in a marketing capacity

  • Prior experience in multi-channelmarketingstrategy, marketing automation including email marketing, lead generation, content marketing, general SEO/SEM oversight, development of web content required
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written channels)

  • Excellent project management skills including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Marketing automation, email marketing

  • General Knowledge/understanding of Search Engine Marketing

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills

  • Strong analytical skills – critical thinking and strategic planning

  • Strong research skills

  • Solid presentation skills

  • Resourceful and creative problem-solver

  • Marketing- and Sales-oriented outlook

  • Ability to work independently as well in collaboration with others

  • Determination and self-motivation

  • Positive and professional work attitude

  • Ability to work overtime if necessary to meet deadlines

  • Experience in software marketing is preferred

  • Experience in the Commercial/IM vertical market is a plus

  • Experience in the real estate industry is a plus
