The Senior Manager, Marketing - Offsite Solutions leads the strategic development and management of marketing programs to support sales growth and dealer participation in all Manheim offsite channels and products. These programs will be designed to achieve growth objectives of the Offsite business and business owners.  He/She reports to the Sr. Director, Client Marketing. Offsite channels include OVE BidLot, OVE Dealer Direct Events, OVE Independent auctions and Manheim Mobile auctions. He/she is also responsible for promotion of any tools, products or offers that would drive offsite business through awareness and engagement.

Key to success in this role is demonstrating strategic ability, creative thinking, strong marketing execution and collaboration across the organization’s stakeholders including Executive Leadership, Business Owners, Marketing, Sales, and Operations. The ideal candidate will also have a strong knowledge of client segmentation and behaviors.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drives the strategic marketing planning process, collaborating with Digital and Offsite Solutions leadership and Marketing leadership
  • Partners with stakeholders to promote and grow adoption of product bundles such as the OVE Offsite DealShield offering
  • Partners with Business Owners, Marketing, Product and Sales to launch and communicate the value propositions to clients for any new products, channels or tools
  • Influences Offsite sales channel incentives through strategy, planning and data analysis
  • Creates sales enablement tools for Manheim Sales Team members to appropriately drive client adoption and grow revenue for Offsite Solutions
  • Leads the development of marketing campaigns to activate the marketing plan for each Offsite sale type including key sale events, major promotions, new program/product launches and prioritized new business opportunities as they arise during the year
  • Assists with development of situation analysis and opportunity assessment to inform marketing strategy and planning with key stakeholders
  • Ensures alignment of planning with overall Digital Marketplace strategy and brand guidelines as established by Marketing leadership and Business owners
  • Single point of contact for locations with Mobile sales regarding consulting/data requests, creative services, etc.
  • Works with leadership and team supporting Independent auctions on OVE to create marketing campaigns to grow transactions and dealer activity
  • Presents ideas and gains alignment from key stakeholders
  • Collaborates with Field Marketing Manager team to ensure adoption of best practices and consistent messaging of Offsite Solutions at locations



Qualifications

  • BA or BS required. Preferred in a marketing or communications discipline (e.g. Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business)
  • 5-10 years of experience in the marketing arena with a focus on strategic planning, campaign development and execution, campaign targeting, email marketing, collaboration with multiple stakeholders at many levels of an organization, and sales enablement
  • Technical skills combined with an analytical approach highly beneficial
  • Strong Presentation and communication skills
  • Email marketing; Project management; Advertising
  • Online media; Social Media
  • Database marketing; CRM Experience 
  • Recent experience with web analytics tools
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel and major MS Office applications
  • Attention to detail with ability to stick to deadlines and work within budget
  • Highly organized
  • Understanding of Automotive and Auction Operations preferred
