Job Summary The Senior Manager, Marketing & Demand Generation will build scalable, creative, and high performance marketing programs and manage a team of Marketing Program Managers. This role will contribute directly to sales growth and be accountable for pipeline development. The right candidate understands how to develop creative integrated marketing campaigns that optimize the flow of qualified leads to sales and thrives on the metrics and processes of B2B marketing, as well as manage and develop a team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the execution of creative integrated inbound and outbound marketing campaigns that build pipeline. Strong emphasis on strategy, creative direction, campaign objectives, and measurement.
  • Constantly identify new opportunities for scalable, holistic funnel campaigns
  • Manage marketing programs budget and model quarterly pipeline targets
  • Work with teams to ensure campaigns are integrated across all channels to drive qualified leads with prospects and existing clients
  • Optimize campaigns and run tests
  • Work with Product Marketing to develop campaign messaging that is solution-oriented and focused on customer pain points and/or critical business issues
  • Establish and regularly review the complete lead lifecycle management process, including hand off points to Sales and methodology for lead qualification
  • Partner with SDRs to refine lead scoring and quality MQLs passed to sales
  • Manage the Marketing Program team following Paycor’s leader guidelines including but not limited to:
    • Regular one-on-ones with direct reports, timely performance reviews and other good management practices
    • Hire and staff team appropriately with recommendations for both short and long term staffing models
    • Lead, motivate and encourage direct reports to achieve departmental and organizational goals

  • 7+ years experience in marketing with strong emphasis on direct marketing and demand generation
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, English, communication, or related field
  • Extensive experience in creating and executing integrated campaigns, with a demonstrated track record of exceptional achievement in demand generation programs for high-tech B2B companies
  • Experience effectively managing and developing a team
  • Deep understanding of lead lifecycle, lead nurturing and lead scoring
  • Awareness of SaaS lead generation best practices and metrics
  • Strong project management skills and ability to use data to guide decision-making and resource allocation
  • An understanding of the marketing technology landscape is a plus
  • Clear communicator, verbal and written
  • Superior organizational and operational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and Marketo preferred
