POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, SMB Analytics supports the successful development of data-driven SMB marketing strategy to acquire and retain new customers to drive market penetration and increase revenue.

Provides technical solutions working withdatabases and campaign/performance data, including segmentation, call forecasting, modeling, profiles, budgeting, campaign dashboards, competitive, net gain, and churn analytics.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
  • Gather and refine complex business requirements to develop reporting, automate and document processes and analyze data
  • Reporting and analysis on marketing offers to measure usage, revenue, effectiveness and other KPIs
  • Produce call and web lead reporting by marketing tactic and sales by marketing tactic conversion
  • Create customer profiles via deep dive analyses, data mining and propensity modeling
  • Produce inbound call and web lead forecasts by evaluating seasonality, trends, marketing opportunities and upcoming campaigns
  • Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecast process, providing the team with marketing data, spending trends and prospect/customer analyses
  • Manage the monthly program review reporting, consolidating data points and performance summaries for presentation to executive leadership
  • Partner with Database marketing to develop and refine segmentation and customer profiles
  • Translate business requirements into SQL queries to pull required data sets, using various data sources
  • Produce monthly/quarterly/annual reports using Tableau Dashboards
  • Perform a leading role on projects, working closely with internal clients to understand key business issues and incorporate them into business and financial models
  • Act as liaison to IT and Database Marketing Team on all data warehouse projects & databasesupport issues

  • Ability to use personal computer and software applications Advanced Excel including complex formulas, Tableau, VLOOKUP tables, Pivot tables, SQL queries & SQLServer, Data Warehouse

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Skills / Abilities and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of cable television, high speed Internet and phone products and services preferred
  • Experience with B2B preferred
  • Experience with Alteryx
  • Experience with Salesforce.com

Education

  • BS/BA in IT, Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience
