• Supports objectives of K12 social and content strategies and campaigns to deliver business impact to K12 public, private, and institutional school partners;

• Drives campaign development that engages local education industry, affinity organizations, teachers, parents and students;

• In conjunction with K12 corporate social media group, partners with creative and video teams to deliver best-in-class break-through creative work;

• Delivers consistent brand and local experiences for audiences engaging with public and private school partners on social media, overseeing channel management and all publishing;

• Amplifies all content creation of relevant K12 blog(s) and recommend topics based on local social media specialist's input;

• Supports objectives and provides content recommendations to internal marketing stakeholders—including PR, paid media, creative services, research and project management---to ensure integration of corporate and brand strategies;

• Conducts periodic audits of local public and private school partner social media sites, ensures consistent best practices and guidelines are followed, and shares content and assets across the local social media specialist team;

• Executes K12 influencer strategy to deliver on brand and local public and private school partner business goals and enhance with input on recommended relevant local individual and group influencers;

• Works with corporate K12 social media team to ensure SEO strategies are optimized and increase organic reach for public and private school partners;

• Stays attuned to emerging social and content platforms and strengthens local public and private school partner presence on those that most align with the brand's and local audiences;

• Leads and develops team of social media and content specialists, fostering a performance-driven, highly-engaged team;

• Develops learning agendas and robust measurement plans for our initiatives;

• Develops the proper KPIs and tracks and reports against them, and aligns the team's activities and focus to where they will have the greatest business impact.

RequirementsMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree(s) AND

• Minimum Five (5) years of social media and content marketing experience OR

• Equivalent combination of education and experience


OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Passion and curiosity for the dynamic, changing nature of digital and social media channels and how they can be leveraged to reach and message the brand's and local audiences

• Ability to collaborate and influence others

• Experience working in consumer marketing and advertising

• Experience managing a team

• Creative mindset and ability to develop engaging content

• Familiarity with SEO tools and understanding of SEO fundamentals

• Knowledge of social media platforms like Sprinklr, Woobox, BuzzSumo

• Extensive knowledge of Social Media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and others.

• Strong communication, project and time management skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel

• Ability to pass required background check
