The Senior HR Manager for serves as the leading HR business partner for over 350 employees across multiple sites. The primary responsibility for this role is to lead and execute on initiatives tied to talent acquisition, employee development, retention, and talent management that advance the organizational capability of the operation. 

 

Job duties include:

 

  • Partnering with General Manager and the leadership team to deliver the talent agenda necessary to meet all business initiatives and objectives
  • Contribute to business plans to determine HR implications and ensure that plans are developed and resourced to support them
  • Provide high quality HR counsel, tools and resources that enable the location to build capability and deliver outstanding results
  • Coaching and counsel to all key positions on employee related issues
  • Establish and maintain effective talent acquisition and retention processes
  • Actively support, develop, and execute talent management and succession planning processes
  • Participate in the development and roll out of corporate initiatives and strategies
  • Effectively manage staff and wage payroll, benefits administration and employee communications
  •  Be a key player in the development of the site vision and work culture improvement strategies

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Bachelor's degreerequired; master's degree is preferred
  • Demonstrated skill set in change management with strengths in influential leadership, building relationships, and workplace transformation
  • High degree of intelligence and self-confidence to function as a consultant and coach
  • A style that is open, honest and collaborative with a commitment with excellent people assessment skills
  • Exposure to and understanding of lean principles; champion of continuous improvement mindset
  • Approximately 15% travel
