Position Summary • The Sr. Human Resources Manager will serve as a business partner to the Field Senior Management Teams and is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal HR team and external business units resulting in strategic partnerships focused on the achievement of Americas’ business goals and objectives. • The Sr. Human Resources Manager will serve as a key business partner to the field teams by integrating HR functional expertise/experience with company-wide business objectives. This position will provide counsel on a wide range of HR solutions including managing high performance teams in a fast paced environment, employee relations matters, conflict resolution, policy interpretation and performance management, succession planning strategy, etc. • The Sr. Human Resources Manager will effectively build credibility at all levels within the organization, and demonstrate exceptional relationship building, influencing, decision making, communication and problem solving abilities. • The Sr. Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing direct supervision, leadership, coaching and development to thel HR Manager-Field, ensuring his/her growth and support of their business units.
Essential Job Duties •
Provide dedicated HR generalist support to bareMinerals and NARS Field Sales Teams. Advise managers on all aspects of organizational effectiveness that includes recruitment/hiring selection, performance management, talent assessment, succession planning, employee relations, policy interpretation and HR compliance. • Provide direct supervision and development to the HR Manager. • Deploy strategies to drive a high performance workforce, employee engagement, including developing strategies for retaining top talent, analyzing reports to identify trends in turnover and collaborate with Compensation team to ensure pay plan strategy alignment. • Ensure legal compliance with all Federal and State Laws. Provide consistent and proactive communication to ensure Field Teams are knowledgeable of and compliant with the Laws and requirements under all necessary Company policies and procedures. • Manage HR initiatives/projects ensuring successful completion and execution.
BA/BS degree in related field, with a minimum 8 years of experience in Human Resources generalist/business partner capacity• Previous HR experience in the corporate environment/retail industry preferred• Broad HR experience in a variety of HR disciplines including performance management, employee relations and compensation• Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills• Knowledge of federal and state regulations and compliance• Ability to listen and understand the needs of the employees, together with those of the company• Ability to work collaboratively and build positive/effective business partnerships• Ability to successfully manage change and deal with ambiguous situations• Ability to interact with all levels of management in a fast paced, high growth, changing environment• Must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
