Senior Manager, Forensic Insurance

The Senior Manager will assist in enhancing a practice and developing strategies for specific Insurance Claims practice deliverables and administering programs to enhance the skills and professional growth of the professionals within the practice.

- Oversees multiple client projects for implementation of Insurance Claims programs
- Prepares and evaluates large Insurance claims
- Partners with clients to substantiate and prepare analysis for specific practice area
- Consults with clients, preparing loss profit calculations
- Coordinates professionals to assist in supporting outside risk managers on large scale matters
- Participates in business development activities initiatives in and outside of the Bethesda / Washington DC office(s)
- Interacts with high level client personnel and attorneys, as well as Federal and local government agencies
- Other duties as required

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervises the day-to-day workload of Managers, Senior Associates and Associates on assigned engagements and reviews work product
- Ensures Managers, Senior Associates and Associates are trained on all relevant litigation / insurance claim resources
- Acts as Career Advisor to Managers, and other professionals in the practice as appropriate
- Evaluates the performance of Managers, Senior Associates and Associates and assists in the development of goals and objectives to enhance professional development

Departmental Management
- Assists with determining and administering the services of the practice

Qualifications Education:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or other relevant field required
- MBA or other relevant advanced degree beneficial

- Eight (8) or more years of experience in evaluating business processes and policies, along with internal and financial reporting controls to identify gaps
- Prior experience drafting remedial procedures and follow-up reviews
- Prior experience completing financial statement audits
- Prior experience in evaluating and developing financial risks and conducting fraud investigations

- CPA certification preferred
- JD, CFE or CIA certification preferred
