The Senior Manager for Sales Operations will be responsible for enforcing all aspects of Sales Operations at Acxiom. The manager will act as a change agent and trusted partner at the intersection of all customer facing teams and channels. Leading a team of Sales Analysts, the Senior Manager for Sales Operations will support consolidated reporting, analytics and standards around KPI’s and metrics (i.e.: bookings, pipeline), sales tools and sales enablement, CRM management and strategy, and sales process definition. This person will also have an important role in driving adoption related to cross-functional alignment of processes including forecast management, target setting, compensation planning, and pricing. This role reports to the Head of Global Sales Operations.

 

What you will do:

 

•Work closely with divisional executives and managers across all customer facing teams and channels to define, build and deliver sales productivity reporting

•Increase sales and account management team productivity through insights, improved processes, and adoption of Business Applications/Tools

•Help define and maintain sales policies across Divisions and geographies to encourage the right behavior and alignment with our values

•Execute the salesforecasting and pipeline management processes

•Implement, document, enforce processes, and tools that will maintain integrity and accuracy of sales data in Salesforce.com and integrate with business intelligence software and othersales tools

•Supportsalescompensation processes including modeling, quota setting, plan issuance, incentive programs and account / territory planning. Partner cross-functionally with HR to drive pay-for-performance philosophy and FP&A on forecasting and attainment calculation

•Provide vision, leadership and guidance to associates; coaches and mentors direct reports to ensure an inclusive, motivating work environment, and desired business outcomes are achieved

 

What you will need:

 

•5+ years of experience in Sales Operations

•Proven effective people leadership skills, preferably in a sales or sales operations related role

•Salesforce.com and or CRM experience specific to analytics, training, and adoption

•Strong competency with Excel, business models, pivot tables, charts and graphs

•An excellent understanding of standard business practices related to Sales Operations processes and systems (sales cycle, CRM applications, lead generation, reporting, forecasting, territory management, compensation planning and sales quotas)

•BS or BA degreerequired

•Ability to synthesize information into actionable insights and contribution to both creating and executing business strategies
