We are looking for a Senior Manager, Financial Reporting to join our Finance team in NASCAR’s Daytona Beach, FL office. This position is responsible for managing the consolidation and financial reportingprocesses as well as solving complex accounting and process issues. This role is also responsible for fixed asset accounting and reporting.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Manage all aspects of the external financial statement process which includes:
Develop reporting to facilitate timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis
Review financial statement variances on a financial statement and individual account basis. Provide explanations to management for fluctuations compared to prior year and budget/forecast
Manage fixed asset accounting to include the following:
Participate in the accounting research for new transactions and determines the initial and recurring accounting related to transaction
Manages the audit and interface with auditors related to financial statement matters. Assists in preparation and review of the audited financial statements and related footnotes in accordance with audit requirements
Identify continuous improvement initiatives and implements solutions. Must be able to effectively manage projects
Qualifications include the following:
Master of Science in Accounting and a minimum of 7 years accounting experience. At least 3 years public accounting experience is highly preferred.
