Your key responsibilities
You’re likely to balance your time between executing client engagements, developing our business and processes, and managing a varied pipeline. That will mean working on new projects, as well as extensions for existing products, so you’ll be actively influencing a range of client relationships. We’ll also look to you to coach, support and manage internal resources. It’s a strategic role in a rapidly growing area, where you’ll use your treasury knowledge, as well as your understanding of our products, services and colleagues to further expand our market share.
Skills and attributes for success
- Ensure products/deliverables meet contract/work plan specifications and deadlines
- Lead and manage Treasury engagements as a senior team member to include: project and resource planning, budget management, execution of work plan and client relationship management
- Support and lead business development and practice development initiatives
- Lead the proposal development process and participate in pursuit team for prospective treasury engagements
- Oversee engagement economics and manage appropriate resources for efficient engagement models
- Demonstrate professionalism while working in the client environment
- Maintain a strong client focus by being responsive to client requests and developing/maintaining productive working relationships with client personnel
- Collaborate with team members to set individual and team goals and responsibilities
- Collaborate with the partner and client to determine a strategy that appropriately addresses risk and manages client expectations relating to deliverables
- Understand the client’s industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends and industry developments
- Develop and maintain strong networks, both internally and externally, and work with other service lines in providing an integrated service delivery
To qualify for the role you must have
- A bachelor's degree and approximately 10 years of related work experience
- Strong communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills
- Desire and ability to work closely with engagement team members and clients
- Valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel internationally
- Advanced skills and experience with: Treasury organizational structure and transformation, Financial risk management (currency, interest rate, commodity), Cash flow forecasting, Cash and liquidity management, Bank relationship management, Treasury technology, International treasury center, Debt and investment management, Governance, controls and regulation, M&A support, Hedge accounting
- An understanding of treasury structure and transformation, financial risk management, cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, international treasury centers, due diligence, carve outs, and hedge accounting
- The confidence to train and mentor junior colleagues, providing the knowledge, skills and opportunities they need to excel
- Excellent sales and influencing skills, and the ability to present credibly to senior clients and colleagues
Ideally, you’ll also have
- A master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering or another relevant discipline
- Certified Treasury Professional qualification
- System selection and implementation experience
