Provide direction and operational oversight to facilities staff with multiple regional facilities, including current equipment, future construction and engineering projects, space changes, and maintenance issues
Interface with business unit senior leadership to ensure operating environments are conducive to high production and employee satisfaction
Plan, direct, and coordinate facilities projects. Review plans and proposals to determine timeframes, identify required resources, and allocation of resources
Review plans and proposals to evaluate and determine timeframes and identify required resources and oversee the work of outside vendors
Review and manage monthly departmental budget issues and cost overruns for respective regional sites
Coordinate with building management, governmental and/or regulatory agencies and facilities leadership to ensure compliance, appropriate internal controls and adherence to policies and procedures, and troubleshoot any issues which cannot be handled by other facilities managers
Serve as the infrastructure liaison with Corporate Telecommunications and Information Technology to ensure statewide and local needs are met in a timely and efficient manner
Develop and maintain preventive maintenance, repair, and cleaning schedules and other Health and Safety requirements such as fire suppression equipment, emergency evacuation plans, automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and business continuity planning
Interface closely with Human Resources and senior management to provide necessary training within their region of responsibility for staff to insure service levels are met and corporate policies are adhered to and plan implementation.*CB
Direct and implement the implementation and consistent operation of all facilities related functions for multiple sites including equipment, utilities, space utilization, safety and telecommunications systems. Manage regional operations in a multi-business line environment.
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 6+ years of facilities experience. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff. Knowledge of telecommunication systems and software preferred. Multi-site management experience is preferred.'
