Description of the Position
Manage the day-to-day change control process and provide direction for the creation and update of product, process-related, quality, and manufacturing data in accordance with internal procedures and IATF 16949 global industry standards.
Continuously improve current business and system processes by creating, redefining, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure maximum efficiency in business and system processes; seek input on improved strategies and processes to help achieve goals; implement new processes and system practices to achieve the goal of reducing time to market for new products while maintaining the highest quality products in the market.
Collaborate to identify and communicate requirements for Maxim’s Document Management Systems; drive the development and implementation of automation and improvements to the systems for continually improvement.
Oversee the management of the user acceptance testing for Maxim’s Document Management Systems; communicate changes and ensure consistent communication and training for the system across functions and departments; troubleshoot problems and generate solutions for system users.
Make strong quality improvement proposals to management/leadership.
Act as a change agent and drive/influence change as well as effectively lead and motivate team members to achieve team goals.
Develop and maintain effective communication and work relationships with internal customer; benchmark across facilities/areas to identify and support strategic new systems, leverage resources, and expertise to develop and implement Best Demonstrated Practices.
Interact internal departments to assure system compliance and synchronization of data and documentation.
Develop and monitor department’s metrics to improve efficiency.
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Information Technology (IT), Management Information Systems (MIS), Systems Analysis (SA), or related field required
Extended training/certification in Records Management or Configuration Management a plus

7 years management experience
2 years hands-on experience of SAP’s PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) & DMS (Document Management System) or comparable systems, SQL/MySQL, Tableau reporting, and SharePoint.
Extensive computer skills and knowledge of technologies: Electronic Document Control Systems, Databases (Access and Oracle), Excel (macros, calculations, formulas), Word (template creations, macros, TOCs, auto references), Visio, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
Knowledgeable in IATF 16949 global industry standards
Knowledgeable in ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27002 international standards a plus
Proven experience driving business process improvements
Able to manage complex interpersonal relationships
Excellent collaboration and influencing skills
Proven ability to communicate ideas and concepts, both verbally and in writing, to all levels of the organization
Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of semiconductor industry & integrated circuits a plus
Maxim Integrated experience a plus
