Reporting Relationship: Reporting to the DVP, Digital Merchandising and leading the Associate Manager


Major Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager, Digital Operations oversees the online operations for with a key focus on operational efficiencies, site execution and customer experience. The Senior Manager will be acting as the liaison between the cross-functional teams to improve online processes and profitability with a focus on distribution center and customer efficiency.  

Role responsibilities include: 

  1. Drive digital profitability improvements through identification and management of process and cost saving initiatives that align with our forecasts and P&L
  2. Works closely with the DVP, Digital Merchandising to represent business needs with tech roadmap initiatives for developing tech enhancements
  3. Acts as the critical business contact and liaison between all Digital departments which includes the category management team, store teams, Omni channel store operations, call centre, fulfillment centre, bridal registry and information technology teams
  4. Oversee fulfillment centre relationship with focus on inventory, fulfillment, returns, receipts, business development, construction and business improvement assignments, promotional activity consideration, delivery and vendor compliance
  5. Spearhead the execution of our key sales events, including one-day-dales
  6. Ownership and revision of extended aisle RTV, Claims, Transfer Management and DC compliance to reduce unproductive or excess inventory
  7. Crisis management when site performance or marketing execution issues occur and information flow to all stakeholders
  8. Coach and provides mentorship/direction to Associate Manager, Digital Operations 


Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 4+ years’ experience in retail or eCommerce operations
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of the organization and customers
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data and provide recommendations
  • Excellent problem solving skills with ability to approach with strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and adhere to tight deadlines in a very fast paced environment; must be extremely detail-oriented
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office experience
