The Bank's Retail Credit Risk Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and supervising effective risk management strategies for the Bank's loan originations and loan portfolios. In this role you'll perform Second Line of Defense (SLOD) credit reviews to evaluate adherence to Bank Credit Policy/guidelines and to monitor credit risk management practices. You'll also be a part of reviewing credit guideline exceptions to evaluate alignment with the company's risk appetite as well as State and Federal banking regulations. Comprehensive loan portfolio analyses for Mortgage, HELOC, and Pledged Asset Line (PAL) loan portfolios are performed to monitor credit quality and identify emerging risks within portfolios and are also used to support and establish the quarterly allowance for credit loss analysis (ACL). In this role, you will lead numerous SLOD reviews and monthly quality control meetings between Bank and Rocket Mortgage and will maintain, enhance, and manage the group's control documents and key processes for Retail Credit Risk Management.

What you have
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or economics
- 10 years of experience with Retail Credit Risk Management, particularly focused on residential mortgage lending
- Project Management experience
- Experience in preparing and presenting findings/recommendations to senior management
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with strategic orientation
- Strong project management skills; ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an understanding of context and audience
- Strong ability to negotiate and come to resolution/consensus with multiple business partners
- Strong interpersonal and team-building skills
