The TOS organization provides the enterprise with operational tooling for monitoring and managing Schwab's electronic services, supporting systems, and components.
What you’ll do:
As a Senior Manager within the Technology Operational Solutions organization? You’ll serve as a strong and versatile leader managing technology platforms providing monitoring and automation solutions across Schwab’s technology organization. You’ll exercise your expertise with enterprise IT operations practices, high availability systems, and people leadership to deliver leading edge technologies. You’ll have the opportunity to see the work your team delivers used across IT to manage Schwab’s technology services.

We are looking for an adaptable, talented people leader who has a strong hands-on technology background: Ability to attract, engage and retain top technical talent. Our candidate will have excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills. Understand and leverage team member strengths to accomplish corporate goals. You will have experience defining KPI’s and measuring results across services and processes. Thrive in a fast-paced environment where multiple objectives must be managed concurrently. A proven track record of managing highly available systems and achieving maximum availability is required. Client focused mindset - exceed the expectations of our internal and external customers. The ability to keep current with the latest technology trends and innovations and bring new techniques to your team and projects is necessary. You must be capable of clearly articulating complex technical issues to all levels of the organization. Expertise in technology management practices including ITIL, Agile, and DevOps. An in-depth background with Enterprise System Monitoring, Task Automation, and Orchestration practices and tooling is critical to this position.
