Our Oppor tunity: Schwab's Analytics & Business Insight (ABI) team helps Schwab compete on analytics to serve our clients and cultivate their loyalty by understanding their needs and goals better than anyone, and then to make data-driven, strategic decisions. Our team is highly skilled at delivering firm-wide strategic decision support, client behavior diagnostics, advanced analytics, market research, client loyalty, management metrics, and client & prospect data management. What you'll do: The Senior Manager - Analyst position sits within the Support Analytics team that supports Operational Services. This role will be responsible for delivering measurements, metrics and analytics via statistical analysis and business intelligence tools on a wide array of very interesting structured and unstructured datasets. More specifically, this role will drive five key actions:

  • Lead efforts to develop highly scalable, modern business intelligence data assets to drive business results and enhance performance visibility.
  • Navigate complex and sometimes unstructured data with the goal of delivering high impact business intelligence & analytics used by executives across the organization.
  • Work actively to support business priorities by engineering creative, modern, optimal solutions that leverage interactive business intelligence and advanced analytic tools.
  • Deploy an analytic mindset to develop creative and compelling visuals that represent key trends and insights for informed decision-making.
  • Develop subject matter expertise to understand critical business processes, information needs, data assets, and the full data lifecycle.

What you have: Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6-8 years of full time work experience, including 5+ years in an analytical role
  • Superior analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to develop concise and effective presentations tailored to specific audiences [ability to 'tell a story' with data]
  • Strong relationship building and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-moving, Agile, and matrix work environment
  • Able to effectively prioritize workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
  • Proficient in SQL skills and relational database development (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)


  • Financial Services experience
  • Proficiency in using data visualization tools [Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView, etc.]
  • SAS or R programming a plus
  • Big Data Environment experience
