Your tasks and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Manager Business Intelligence, are to:

  • Support Director, Business Analytics & Intelligence and leads B.I. work team in development & deployment of Business Intelligence strategy for U.S. CH, delivering solutions across data, information and insights, focusing on front-end user interface development, visualization analytics;
  • Initiate and lead regular assessments of US CH BI needs, and identify and deliver improvements and efficiencies;
  • Lead Business Intelligence Stakeholder Team (IRI, BI partner firms, Advanced Analytics, Marketing, Sales, Consumer Insights, Shopper Marketing, Global BI) to develop a harmonized BI vision and approach across functional boundaries;
  • Manage total U.S. CH reporting needs and oversees completion of ad hoc Division information requests
  • Evaluate new data tools & capabilities, and leads the automation of BI capabilities in support of agile commercial decision making;
  • Responsible for deliverables of 15 IRI on-site contractors, and 1 direct report;
  • Manages IRI on-site contractors, and provides continuous feedback for optimized performance & structure.

Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced college degree (Masters Degree) in Statistics, Mathematics and/or Computer Science plus 3 years experience in either a combination of syndicated data management, business analytics or competitive intelligence, or BA/BS Degree plus 10 years or MBA plus 5 years experience in either a combination of syndicated data management, business analytics or competitive intelligence is required;
  • Hands-on experience with BI/OLAP tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Domo, Looker);
  • Experience in back-end database technologies including cloud platforms (Azure, AWS);
  • Familiarity with SQL, ETL, data architecture and instrumentation;
  • Proven experience in building BI solutions for CPG, by leveraging POS/Panel/Equity/Financial/Operational data;
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure with significant emphasis on collaboration and persuasion;
  • Experience documenting complex processes and presenting them in a clear and understandable format;
  • Individual must be results driven and demonstrated ability to influence change.
