Schedule, coach and advise maintenance personnel and coordinate repair activities for thermoforming machinery used in production of blister packs and clamshell packaging for medical devices, consumer electronics, food and cosmetics.
*** Conduct regular maintenance activities including disassembly, cleaning, troubleshooting, calibrating and reassembly of thermoforming machinery.
*** Design a maintenance schedule incorporating shop activities and planned production runs, avoiding large-scale maintenance activities when quick tooling changeovers are needed.
*** Train subordinates in proper maintenance procedures, safety standards and incident reporting for machines and personal injuries.
***5+ years experience with plastic production machinery.
*** Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical principles and how they relate to moving parts on industrial production machinery.
*** Ability to lead maintenance teams comprised of up to 5technicians, and provide indirect supervision to other members of internal cross-functional teams.
