The Senior Learning Specialist partners with Human Resources and business leaders to build and implement learning programs that tangibly contribute to organizational success. The successful candidate is passionate about talent development and has a track record in successfully managing learning programs from inception through implementation and sustainment.

A day in the life…

  • Establish partnerships within HR, the business, and the extended Learning & Leadership team
  • Lead needs assessment activities and uncover root causes behind performance deficits
  • Develop and deliver learning strategies
  • Lead and/or participate on teams that use agile and design thinking principles and practices to deliver surgical solutions with the greatest impact
  • Coordinate and partner with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to design and/or deliver in-class sessions
  • Implement solutions leveraging organizational change management principles and practices
  • For success in the role, the following are must-haves:
  • Strong project management skills, leveraging tools to ensure consistency and timely progress on milestones
  • Able to manage complexity and time effectively, prioritizing multiple overlapping projects and responsibilities
  • Consistently deliver exemplary internal customer service through strong professionalism and ownership of projects
  • Demonstrate commitment to teamwork through relationship building and effective collaboration across businesses

You know this if you have…

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of adult learning experience including a track record of delivering learning and business outcomes
  • 5+ years of experience conducting needs analysis and familiarity with the ADDIE model; knowledge of adult learning techniques and methodologies
  • Instructional design background and experience with eLearning authoring software preferred
  • Success working in and managing all phases of the learning development/delivery cycle
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, including end-to-end learning program implementation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport and influence peers and leadership
  • Ability to lead diverse projects in a fast-paced, dynamic, evolving environment
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office
  • Retail and merchandising experience (a strong plus)
