As a member of ZOLL Data IT Team, the Senior IT Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting the ZOLL technology infrastructure including but not limited to: servers (physical/virtual), end-user systems and peripherals, AV conference room technologies, Telephony, Storage Area Networks (SAN), Microsoft Back Office and other business applications.

Essential Job Duties:
Configure, deploy, monitor and maintain new server infrastructure (hardware and software, physical and virtual)
Configure, deploy and monitor enterprise backup systems
Active Directory (AD) design and configuration: Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Security Groups, Domain Controllers (DCs), Domain Trusts, etc.
Microsoft Exchange administration: Distribution Lists, Transport Rules, Shared Mailboxes, eDiscovery, Archiving, etc.
Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive administration: create sites, manage permissions, etc.
Install, configure and upgrade: network printing, directory structures, access rights, etc.
Liaison with external 3rd parties to execute infrastructure related projects
When escalation necessary, assist in troubleshooting complex end-user issues with Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite and other business applications
Participate in security audits and manage ZOLL’s back office systems in accordance with regulatory requirements
Engage with 3rd party technology service providers and instruct, monitor and report on activities as necessary

Minimum travel required
College degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent experience
A+, MCP, MCSE or similar certifications is a plus
6+ years of Systems Administration experience on Microsoft Windows platform
6+ years experience with Microsoft Office Suite
6+ years experience with Microsoft Windows Server platform
6+ years experience with other Microsoft products: Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM, SharePoint, SQL, Hyper-V, O365, etc.
Exceptional customer service skills
Exceptional problem solving skills
Ability to multi task and prioritize
General business writing skills
Understand of Active Directory and MS Exchange required; knowledge of O365 and Azure is a plus
Understanding of Windows Datacenter and Windows Clustering Services
Understanding MDM and MAM solutions such as Microsoft Intune
Understanding of Windows Deployment Services
Experience with enterprise hard drive encryption solutions; Microsoft BitLocker preferred
Knowledge of enterprise endpoint security solutions, antimalware and antivirus
Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN concepts; familiarity with Cisco, Brocade and PAN platforms is a plus
Knowledge of Window PowerShell scripts
Knowledge of VMWare ESX Server management and familiarity with VMWare Infrastructure tools
Experience supporting a mixed PC/MAC environment
Experience with Cloud Infrastructure technologies (Azure, AWS) preferred
Experience with O365 platform and related technologies (MFA, IAM, etc.) desired
