Role Value Proposition: 

As part of the Investments IT organization, this position will play a critical role providing oversight, organization, and coordination of key activities across several projects within the organization.  We are looking for an experienced project leader with expertise in managing cross-functional initiatives. This is a dynamic, exciting role with an opportunity to collaborate globally with a multitude of teams and technologies.

    

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of projects to include identifying and managing projects’ risks and issues; monitoring progress of all key project work streams, deliverables and outcomes; creation and maintenance of detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
  • Provide updates to management regarding project status and the application and implementation of technology
  • Collaborate with other technologists and vendors to define requirements, analyze solutions and develop implementation plans
  • Support partner teams to refine processes and increase efficiency in line with department objectives
  • Evaluate new/emerging technologies/tools for possible use within IT

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • 5+ years of infrastructure management, operations and engineering, application development experience
  • Ability to project manage a wide variety of Cloud engineering projects, and multi-task in a challenging, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities and communication skills – written, verbal and presentation
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Technologies (.NET, SQL Server, Web Services, SSIS/SSRS, TFS)
  • Intermediate level knowledge of application infrastructure, networking concepts, and cloud technologies

Preferred:

  • Experience working with development teams in an Agile Environment
  • Knowledge/Experience with networking, firewalls, Active Directory, FTP, TWS
  • Knowledge of computing platforms like HPC, Microsoft Azure and MongoDB or similar
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a global environment with matrix organizational management
  • Bachelor’s degree with major in Computer Science or Engineering or related field
