The Senior IT Manager, (Network Telecom) provides leadership, mentorship and technical direction for a diverse group of highly proficient and motivated Network professionals. Working with both internal and external partners Senior IT Manager, (Network Telecom) is responsible for the Network Teams Roadmap, which must be flexible and highly stable enabling our network to meet the growing demands the business.

Provides day-to-day management of the team along with supporting and nurturing talent within their organization through effective coaching, feedback and support personal development.
Assures compliance to the EA (Enterprise Architecture) and Domain roadmaps using cost effectiveness, business value and competitiveness arguments.
Work with the business to define business and technical requirements, translating into a technical solution to meet business needs.
Accountable for supporting the internal/external network and telephony services, ensuring life cycle is met and capacity planning is considered with recommendations for -- Business Offices, Remote Call Centers, Colo's, Retail Stores, Distribution and Super Centers, Data Center at Home Office.
Work collaboratively with other SME's and team members on project solutions.
Prepares business case, lobbies to secure funding for, and drives implementation of new technologies based upon business value drivers and return on investment
Will be integral to developing and improving incident and change management within the networking engineering space. Responsibilities include driving initiatives regarding improvements to existing processes, provide feedback, develop new practices & procedures, support audit initiatives, in order to scale with the rapid expansion of the network and customer base.
Responsible for network project deliverables for all members of the network team; using effective communication and working closely with the PMO within the Plan Team.
Other duties assigned by management.
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BFA) in Computer Science, MIS, IT or equivalent working experience.
Minimum 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the networking and telecom field. Call center experience will be highly preferred.
Create reports for presentations, weekly/monthly status, outage reports working with the Senior Monitoring Specialist and Snr Service Desk Manager to align on reporting to Stakeholders.
Expected to provide both technical and 'soft skill' mentoring in order to maintain a well-rounded, well-balanced team.
Support and nurture talent with the organization through effective coaching, feedback and support personal development.
Support leadership with resource planning activities by providing technical insight into upcoming and ongoing project deliverables.
