Job Description:

Meet GuestCenter.

The GuestCenter platform is the heart of OpenTable and connects restaurants to our network of over 26 million diners. The GuestCenter iOS app is a sophisticated software tool that enables restaurant hosts, servers, managers, and owners to plan shifts, manage tables, and grow their business. Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with other specialists including engineers, product managers, and designers to rapidly iterate on product requirements and UX/UI designs, evaluate scope, understand and clearly communicate trade-offs, and build consensus on technical direction.
  • Promote quality as a first principle by helping us evolve our unit and regression testing practice, facilitate architecture and code reviews, and enhance our continuous integration/continuous delivery capability.
  • Help understand user impact and provide timely responses to support requests and incidents.
  • Continuously provide mentorship and guidance to team members.

Requirements:

  • Experience shipping production native iOS applications and features.
  • Proficient with Swift and Objective-C.
  • Experience evaluating and working with different toolkits and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with (and deep experience in two or more of): UIKit, CoreData, Networking, Instruments, SOLID, MVVM, FRP.
