Senior iOS Audio Engineer at Breaker in Remote

Let’s make Breaker the best iOS app for listening to podcasts! Your role will be to work primarily on the audio engine for Breaker and make it run smoothly. You’ll be responsible for fixing iOS audio bugs and adding new features to our podcast player.

Must have

• Expertise developing iOS apps in Swift.
• Experience with Apple’s audio APIs, specifically AVFoundation.
• Ability to debug crash reports, analyze, and quickly fix iOS audio issues.
• Experience with automated testing for iOS apps.
• Self-directed and able to quickly fix bugs and ship new functionality.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
• Love of podcasts. ❤️

Nice to have

• Experience specifically with AVAudioEngine.
• Contributions to iOS open source projects.
