We are aggressively staffing up for multiple Small Modular Reactor (SMR) and Advanced Reactor (AR) new design projects that in-progress at Sargent & Lundy. This is an opportunity to work on the new generation of smaller-scale, modular nuclear power plants that will provide safe, clean, carbon-free energy in the fight against global warming. Sargent & Lundy is currently performing engineering and design work on multiple SMR and AR projects that are in either the conceptual, preliminary, or detailed design phase. We are looking for motivated, talented individuals to join our SMR and AR project teams and make nuclear power the leading choice for carbon-free energy.

Responsibilities
Our electric power generation clients are updating and replacing the power plant control systems with new digital control systems. This is expanding work in the Instrumentation and Controls Engineering group. Due to this influx of work, Sargent & Lundy has a need for an I&C Engineer in our Wilmington, Delaware office.
You will work on major process controls engineering projects for upgrades and modifications to nuclear power plants in the following areas:
