Come join the REI Infrastructure team as a Senior Business Analyst. We have some exciting efforts underway – Campus Move, Office 365 rollout, Mobile Workforce, new POS system and many others. In this role, you will collaborate with a cross divisional team to help design and planinfrastructure solutions. As a Senior Business Analyst at REI you are:

Requirements Management

  • Gather and Manage incoming requests
  • Elicit and document requirements
  • Define Success Criteria
  • Ensures testability/traceability

Advocate for the customer, internal and external

  • Determine priority of requests
  • Define minimum viable features
  • Consolidate multiple requests into a viable solution
  • Manage change requests o Participate in creation of business functionality roadmaps

Communicate with your business partners

  • Translate the technical into business speak
  • Provide status and updates

Infrastructure Understanding

  • Analyze and document as-is business processes
  • Contribute to ongoing Portfolio planning
  • Collaborate with several IT technical teams

Bring your passion and expertise

  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • Experience in influencing and prioritizing business requests
  • Ability to understand and explain issues from both a technical and a business functional point of view both verbally and written
  • Ability to collect, express and manage requirements (use cases, data modeling, process modeling, context diagrams, systems diagrams, etc.)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to conceptualize and recommend solutions to business problems
  • Actively participates and collaborates across REI for the achievement of business goals
  • Open to learning new ideas in order support the REI direction
  • Use of business knowledge, innovative thinking, and sound judgment in the solution of problems or the pursuit of business opportunities
  • Understanding of the benefits of a specific request
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
