WANTED: A mission-driven candidate with and active Secret clearance who is ready to become our next Senior Information Assurance Engineer (Fully Qualified) in Philadelphia, PA supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia in the development and support of US Navy condition-based assessment systems.

A week in the life of a Senior Information Assurance Engineer (Fully Qualified):

  • Provide critical support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Remote Monitoring & Condition Based Maintenance Systems branch in the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process for software programs associated with shipboard condition based assessment systems.
  • Assist warfare center engineers and computer programmers in the C&A process of shipboard condition based assessment systems.
  • Provide C&A and Information Assurance (IA) software management support to US Navy condition based maintenance systems.

Job Requirements


Bachelors degree in Computer Science

3 years&rs experience working with Navy Certification & Accreditation (C&A) efforts as a Navy Validator including IA and C&A experience.

3 years professional experience and knowledge with RDT&E and Business IT systems and the C&A phases

Must possess Fully Qualified Validator Certificate from the Navy Certification Authority (CA)

Position is an IAM Level II Cyber Security Workforce

Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of all C&A subject area with in-depth familiarity and understanding of Navy IT sites, systems and infrastructure; applies Navy C&A guidance to Navy C&A efforts. Ability to develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSP), Contingency Plans, Privacy Impact Assessments, Certification Reports, Accreditation Reports, Plan of Action &Milestones (POA&M), and other C&A documentation

Must be eligible for a security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
