What You Will Do
- Establishes the physical layout of factory and the most efficient and optimized sequence of operations and work flow.
- Production/Manufacturing Capacity Analysis/Planning
- Plans the sequence of operations and procedures and documents manufacturing standard work and routings.
- Plans the allocation of resources, materials and personnel to establish maximum utilization of equipment and resources.
- Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to improve flow of material and information within business and production processes
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Experience working in a High-Mix product Manufacturing environment
- Experience Designing Layouts in Visio or similar software
- Experience with Value Stream Mapping (VSM) Events, 5S events, facility layout events, or other Kaizen events.
- Experience with Production/Manufacturing Capacity Analysis/Planning and Line Balancing
- Experience with implementing solutions for complex cross-functional problems using project management and change management skills
- Experience calculating Takt Time, Utilization, Productivity and performing complex Time Studies
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) access.

- Experience developing business justification in pursuit of executing Capital Expenditure Projects
- Experience Running Production Manufacturing Simulations
- AGILE framework task management and project planning
- Experience with JIRA (Atlassian tool)
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Project Management Certification
- MES (i.e. Solumina)
- SAP / ERP Experience
- Data Analytics and development via PowerBI or Tableau

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
