ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES

The Senior Hybris Developer is responsible for the technical analysis, the design, the implementation, and the unit testing of application software changes for our Hybris Ecommerce site. The Hybris Developer is also responsible for analyzing and resolving application maintenance or production issues as they arise. You will be working within an existing development team on maintenance and enhancements of our Ecommerce platform. You should be very familiar with all modules of ecommerce including by not limited to categorylanding page, product detail page, checkout, account management and self-serve, SEO, search and navigation, product, pricing, promotions and coupons, etc. The Hybris developer will be well versed in integrations with internal systems and external 3rd party vendor systems.

Additional responsibilities include:

  1. Design, develop and maintain new features on a SAP Hybris Ecommerce platform based on business requirements including integrations with internal and external systems.

  2. Communicate with business stakeholders, SMEs and third party vendors.

  3. As needed, rapidly troubleshoot and debug solutions and recommend fixes.

  4. Mentor development team on Hybris platform.

  5. Production maintenance and support of the existing site

  6. Vendor management and 3rd party systems ownership.

  7. Own delivery of development cycles

 

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4 years of experience on SAP Hybris Ecommerce platform. Experience on Hybris 6 is preferred.

  • 8 years of experience on Java. Experience with Java 8 is preferred.

  • 6 years of experience on Spring framework.

  • Experience in test driven development (Junit, Mockito).

  • Experience with SQL, REST and SOAP WebServices, JavaScript, jQuery, BootStrap.

  • Ability to set priorities and function in a highly dynamic environment.

  • Excellent problem solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Motivated to Learn – follow technical blogs, IT retail industry trends etc.

  • Degree in an IT discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
