Manages and directs the activities for their assigned Field Human Resource Generalist(s)
Consults with Regional Managers providing HR policy guidance and interpretation when appropriate/as needed.
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues.
Maintains in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day to day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Builds work relationships, morale, increase productivity and retention
Participates in evaluation and monitoring of success of HR initiatives.
Supports our Talent and Training Team with input to develop/enhance HR programs, services, solutions and workshops.
Provides support in various HR areas which include new hire onboarding and assimilation, mergers and acquisition support, safety compliance and monitoring, performance and talent management programs deployment, and general team member education.
Identifies, prioritizes or responds to requests and issues resolution using company approved HR tools and techniques within established timelines.
Manages and supports the execution of human resources processes and programs into the field to optimize an environment where the workplace is free of all discrimination and harassment by proactively measuring employee engagement, turnover, and compliance with all applicable Federal, state, and/or municipal laws
Supports succession planning, performance management and other corporately driven talent management and Operational Development and Execution programs as directed by Director of Human Resources
Supports and recommends workforce planning initiatives for assigned territories in partnership with operational leaders.
Ensures territories/stores maintain a work environment conducive to employee self-representation.
Guides the escalation and resolution of HR questions, issues and requests to the appropriate channels by acting as a champion of the HR shared services delivery model.
Manages exit interview process and analysis for field leader positions.
Covers for Field Human Resources Generalist during absences.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience evaluating information to determine compliance with standards, laws, and regulations.
Experience delivering presentations and facilitating workshops to various audience levels within an organization.
Experience managing in a multi-unit retail service environment as a field centric business partner.
Strong conflict management skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Demonstrated ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results
Be flexible and able to interact with employees at all levels
Demonstrated ability to apply sound business principles and practices to management and change management processes.

Bachelor's degree preferred in human resource management or related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential a plus
Six (6) years of progressive experience supporting multi-unit retail, restaurant, or service organizations
Proficient in email, Microsoft office products - Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Has worked with an HCM or HRIS system
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business while also having the capability to travel weekly up to 75% of the time.
Working knowledge of Spanish a plus
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Occasional bending, reaching, lifting of 1 to 15 lbs.
