osition Purpose Provides strategic and responsive human resources consulting services to campus departments and divisions in the areas of employee relations, performance management, and organizational development and effectiveness. Serves as an expert resource in the interpretation, application, development and administration of HR policies, programs, and procedures.
Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree
• Eight to ten years of human resources experience, with at least five years in an employee relations role
• Experience in interpreting and applying policies
• Sound reasoning and decision-making ability based on a mix of analysis, experience and good judgment
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong writing, editing, and oral presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications • A graduate degree in human resources, law, business or related field is preferred, or the equivalent combination of experience and education
• Previous experience working in an academic environment is highly desirable
