Role Overview:

Lucas Group has partnered with a leading manufacturing firm to identify their next Senior HR Generalist. The Senior HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting the HR function across the corporate office and multiple manufacturing facilities. This opportunity will focus on broad based HR work including employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, and recruitment.


  • Administers employee management programs encompassing all functional areas of employee relations
  • Aids Human Resources Manager in the design, planning, and implementation of human resources programs, policies and procedures in compliance with State and Federal laws and regulation
  • Assists the Human Resources Manager in identifying and creating opportunities to increase attraction, retention and employee morale throughout the company
  • Addresses employee relations concerns and issues, investigates complaints in a timely manner, evaluating all information and making well informed recommendations for resolution and actions to be taken
  • Provides advice and counsel to company management regarding employee performance management and performance improvement actions
  • Insures compliance with company policies; state and federal laws and regulations
  • Administers leave programs & benefits including FMLA, ADA and STD
  • Administers employee enrollment in benefit programs including medical, life, AD&D, STD, LTD, 401(k)


  • Bachelor's Degree (a focus in Business Management or Human Resources is a plus)
  • 5 years previous Human Resources experience in areas noted above
  • PHR, SPHR and/or SHRM certification
