Job Description:

To further the rapid growth of our business, TrueCar is looking for a strategic, innovative, hands-on Sr. HR Business Partner to work directly with our sales and sales support organization in our Bee Cave office.   • With a deep understanding of the business, develop HR strategies and initiatives that support the achievement of business priorities and goals. This includes leveraging and integrating the following key organizational levers: performance management, compensation, workforce planning, rewards & recognition, employee development & learning, talent management, including leadership development, and employee relations management
  • Trusted advisor, thoughtful sounding board and business partner to senior sales and sales support leaders and their teams, functioning as the expert of people and organizational issues
  • Plays leadership role in enabling the organization to identify the need for change and effectively implementing change management strategies.  Including stakeholder analysis, communication strategy, and developing measurements of success
  • Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment, which encourages the full use of diverse talents and abilities
  • Coach business leaders on key organization and management issues, HR policies and processes, including talent planning, learning and development, and performance to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development
  • Assesses organizational performance systemically, defining talent gaps and proposing solutions that support business objectives




  • Minimum 7 years of progressively responsibleexperience within an HR function in a dynamic environment
  • Prior experience working with sales and sales support organizations is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to coach leaders and influence for positive outcome
  • Must have strong time management and communication skills and be able to build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Deliver short-term solutions while also solving for long-term problems by addressing immediate challenges and underlying causes
  • Demonstrate project management skills and ability to drive programs independently
  • A working knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and multi-level recruitment experience
  • Excellent time management and communication skills; must be detail oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings and training and have professional presentation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to prepare deliverables and reports accurately within time deadlines
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity are a must




  • MBA or relevant graduate degreepreferred
  • Must be able to work at all levels of the HR “stack” – Strategic, operational, and tactical; think strategically and implement strategy tactically
  • Experience in a variety of HR disciplines (both COE and BP) and/or HRstrategy consulting
