Point32Health is seeking a talented Sr. Designer to join the Commercial Division – to drive product awareness and engagement to brokers, employers and members of our employer-sponsored products, as well as the individual market. This role reports to Senior Manager, Creative Services – and supports both product portfolios of Harvard Pilgrim and Tufts Health Plan – and manages one direct report and freelancers, as needed. This role partners closely with the Sr. Production Designer, Sr. Writer and project management team to aid in the development and delivery of each communication.
A core component to this role is to translate the brand guidelines set by Corporate Communications to fit the specific needs of Commercial Division deliverables. This role is responsible for understanding the style/tone nuances by state, audience type, product and program, and building a visual representation of these needs to be used as a guide for the full Creative Services team.
• Act as owner of brand standards and style guide for the Commercial Creative Services team with deep understanding of our internal clients, audience, tone/style and the visual representation of our value proposition.
• Manage and provide mentorship and guidance to Designer and freelance design support, as needed.
• Work closely with Sr. Production Designer, Writer(s), project management team and Corporate Creative team.
• Conceptualize, design and execute high-quality multi-channel projects that align to program objectives and goals.
• Demonstrate proficiency in designing for digital and print across multiple platforms.
• Produces high-quality finished deliverables with speed and accuracy.
• Able to develop high-level storyboards and layouts to effectively communicate design ideas. Works within brand standards while capitalizing on opportunities to evolve and elevate the brand.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
Four (4) year degree in graphic design, advertising, marketing or another relevant field
6 - 8 years of relevant professional experience with at least 4 years of supervisory experience; marketing agency/in-house agency experience preferred.
Experience and comfort working with marketing, product and sales organizations
Experience with regulated industries is desirable – health insurance a plus
Proactive leader with experience managing staff and the ability to prioritize and concurrently handle multiple, time sensitive requests. Project/operation management software familiarity a plus.
High attention to detail and accuracy
Resourceful; ability to problem solve
Confident and skilled at building consensus (verbal and written)
Ability to translate complex or technical content into a simplified and approachable visuals
Proven experience managing complex projects with competing deadlines
Ability to work independently and part of cross-functional teams
Comfortable with presenting information to peers and senior leaders – in an effective manner
An appreciation for evolution and refinement to improve or change outcomes
Knowledge of the entire Adobe Creative Suite and various Email and Digital Platforms
WORKING CONDITIONS AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Position is based in Canton, MA – however flexible and remote working environments are acceptable
Entails flexibility to work beyond regular hours, as needed, to execute projects on time and serve as resource to team
