The Internal Reporting Group within Corporate Accounting is seeking a candidate to coordinate the PeopleSoft General Ledger chartfield configuration maintenance process and assist with additional monthly Internal Reporting responsibilities.

The Internal Reporting team is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the PeopleSoft General Ledger by reviewing and approving configuration change requests. We assist in the monthly Corporate close process (opening/closing the G/L, confirming all journal entries have been posted). We also run monthly and quarterly financial statements supporting external reporting like the 10(K) and 10(Q) and FHFA call reports.
Your Impact:
This position will review and approve PeopleSoft configuration requests that ensure accurate financial reporting. The employee will lead the preparation and review of our Monthly Volume Summary financial report and execute our recurring close procedures and General Ledger queries to close the GL and ensure that we meet our close deadlines.
The preferred candidate should have a desire to understand general ledger accounting systems and reporting practices. We're looking for a strong interest in learning and understanding the underlying accounting concepts that support our financial reporting. In this position, you'll need to have strong analytical skills, be highly organized, possess strong communication skills, and the ability to concurrently run multiple projects along with interacting and working effectively with all levels of management. Ability to work independently and identify ways to make processes more efficient is a plus!
