Summary of the role:

The Senior Full Stack Developer will be a key member for the delivery of the R&D deliverables for 2020/2021 roadmap. The role will require close interactions TravelClick engineers, vendor partners, and product management. Also, always looking for ways to optimize personal and collective performance.

In this role you’ll:

Lead development functions for a key product line
Design, develop and execute software solutions to address business growth
Work with the Architecture Teams to ensure high quality and performance of deliveries
Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform
Collaborate with peer organizations, quality assurance and end users to produce cutting-edge software solutions
Interpret business requirements to articulate the business needs to be addressed
Design and implement proactive monitoring to ensure health, performance and security of our production and non-production cloud infrastructure
Troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently

Ownership of high priority and or difficult action items
Communicate plans, status, and issues as required

About the ideal candidate:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
Relevant Work Experience:
Minimum 6-8 years of experience as a full stack developer
Business Understanding:
Knowledge of travel industry and hotel in particular
Skills:
Computing:
6+ years of professional experience in full stack software development in both User Interface and server-side technologies (especially for real-time high-volume systems in an e-commerce/hospitality environment)
Experience with React, Spring Framework, Java Script, Java, Spring, CSS, Unix
Experience working with database systems (MYSQL, Oracle, Couch)
Experience working with Kubernetes, docker, Kafka, Redis
Experience in cloud-based systems is a plus
Languages: Excellent command of English, oral and written
